Strategic Planning

James C. Rogers has been responsible for the strategic planning of health care organizations for over 15 years. Preparation for the next plan never ends and progress on the current plan is being monitored weekly or monthly based upon the needs of the location.

The actual strategic planning meeting takes place once or twice per year, lasting several hours. All opportunities and weaknesses are identified and discussed by the group. The group then determines the priorities and the immediate action steps. In an executive meeting approximately one week later, the plan is finalized including specific goals and targets.

An Action Plan is then developed to provide a detailed list of tasks needed to execute the plan. Responsibilities for each item is delegated between the support team. Progress is monitor on going management meetings.

Accounting

A full service corporate account function is available to serve the needs of the operating units. These services include payroll, accounts payable and financial statement preparation utilizing Quick Books.

Payroll processing including withholding, payroll tax deposits, and quarterly (Form 941, state and federal unemployment and state withholding) reports. Annual (W-2's, W-3's, 1099's, etc.) reporting is also provided.

Accounts payable pays bills, which have received appropriate approval to pay, in a timely fashion. Financial statements are prepared on a periodic basis to monitor profitability (income statement) and financial position (balance sheet) including liquidity by our own in house Certified Public Accountant.

Working Capital / Equipment Financing

Most small businesses need additional working capital especially during times of growth and expansion.
PHP will assist companies in obtaining working capital financing. PHP may also provide working
capital directly for short term needs. PHP also has several sources for equipment financing.

Coding, Billing, and Appeals

PHP has over 10 experienced billing and collection professionals available to provide accurate timely billing services. A sister company Account Services, LLC is a full service collection agency that provides discounted services to supported companies. Appeal specialists and experienced coders are also available to handle the most difficult cases.

Information Systems

PHP has experience with three widely used orthotic and prosthetic software including OPIE, Brighttree and Futura. Hardware and software are available through PHP.

Marketing Plan and Tools

PHP has developed a detailed Marketing Plan that is easily adapted to individual locations. Marketing Plans are developed for each office and satellite location addressing specific strategies for each individual referral source. Comprehensive marketing plans are designed especially for the orthotic and prosthetic fields. Our methods have proven successful and have drastically increased the relationships practitioners have with their referral sources. Tools available include a formal meeting, talking points, In-service Agendas, Referral Source Data Sheets, marketing collateral materials, brochures, graphics and tailored websites. Short Term Staffing

PHP can provide interim practitioner or technician staffing in the case of illness or to allow vacations.
